Lubomir Stoykov was born on May 11, 1954 in the town of Stara Zagora. He has graduated journalism at Sofia University "Sveti Kliment Ohridski" (1979).
Professor in ordinary at University of national and world economy (UNSS), Sofia University “Sveti Kliment Ohridski” and in National Art Academy. He is a master of Journalism andPh.D. in Philology. At University of National and World economy he teaches Public Relations, Culture and Mass Media and Business Culture and Communication; at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass communication he teaches Culture and Mass media and Business Communication; at National Art Academy he teaches Fashion Theory, Fashion as an Art, Fashion – Media, Marketing and Advertising, Fashion as a Performance and others. He also teaches culture in the mass media, public relations, business communication, corporate culture and advertisement strategies, culture and fashion, image making, lifestyle journalism and so on.

Lubomir Stoykov is an expert in cultural studies and aesthetics, PR consultant and TV journalist. He is an author and host of the weekly fashion show of New Television "Ot igla do konetz" ("From needle to thread") – 1995 - 2003. He is also an author and host of weekly fashion show of TV “7 Dni” - “The Charming Dictator” (2004 – 2008). He was an editor-in-chief of “Moda” magazine (1997). Now he is an editor-in-chief of the online magazine “Fashion Lifestyle Magazine”. He is deputy-chairman of the Bulgarian Academy for Fashion and chairman of its artistic board. He is member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He is consultant of the parliamentarian commission of the civil society and media. He is a co-founder of the Association of Image makers and PR specialists “Imagines” and a member of its administrative council. He is a manager of “Ot Igla do Konetz” (“From needle to thread”) consulting house. Prof. Stoykov is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists. He interviewed scores of world famous stars in the field of fashion design, cinema and pop music.

Author and compiler of “Almanac of Bulgarian Fashion 2000” as well as its following issues, respectively  2001, 2002-2003, 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
